SevOrigami: Muzzle Ring

SevOrigami: Muzzle Ring

These rings have a funny story, actually, but I’ll make it brief. I used to fiddle with the muzzle of tall sparkly beverages at parties, usually on the dance floor, listening to the music and moving my person about. In time, I became more comfortable with folding and bending the wire. And what makes this practice even more curious is that each muzzle takes on a unique shape to become a ring; a simple drawing around my index finger. Of course, feel free to try the ring on any finger you wish, but as for me, it looks and feels best on the index finger of the right hand. I figured out a few folds that could result in adjustable rings, though they all vary in form. For instance, with one of them, the focus shifted to the side of the ring rather than the top part.

At some point, I tried fixing inside the wires a nice piece of stone, a scrap of wood perhaps, or the best one yet, the wornout bits of glass floating in the sea for a while, losing all the rough edges and the smooth skin depending on how long they’ve been swimming underwater; my number one item I looking forward to finding whenever I visit the beach. The muzzle rings are then garnished with a glowing gem in different colors, green, brown, white, and strangely very rarely, blue.

On SevOrigami, you can have a look a closer look at these rings, and order one for yourself.
